Welcoming Spring

Spring is the busiest time of year in Real Estate. Cooler changes through Winter often promotes cosy evenings at home, slower mornings with the sun rising later & a greater level of introspection.

As we approach the festive season, the pace of life picks up, socialising becomes more frequent & holiday plans begin to take shape.

During this transitional period, we often reflect on whether our current living spaces still meet our needs.

  • Have you outgrown your current lifestyle? Would you rather step into a slower pace to immerse yourself in the ever-growing list of hobbies? Or are you ready to embrace the hustle and bustle, leaving the countryside behind to be closer to loved ones?
  • Are you looking to open an at-home business which will require a designated space  to create separation and allow you to leave work behind at the end of your day? Will this need a separate parking for clients? Or a professional touch, like large glass doors or a private bathroom?
  • Perhaps your taste has evolved and you would prefer a modern residence, but the cost of a major renovation far outweighs the price to purchase something which is almost perfect?
  • Are you ready for a project to tackle with the goal of restoring a character-filled home to its former glory?
  • Could moving closer to the kids school create more ease in your life? Or have they moved out of home and you know it’s time to downsize?
  • Have you considered how much time you could free up in your day, simply by moving closer to work?

The list could go on forever, but at the end of the day, your current home could be exactly what someone else is searching for.

With more housing being built on the Sunshine Coast, people are more commonly looking to relocate to find something suitable to their evolving lives. This allows us to adapt rather than simply ‘making it work’.

We recognise that moving can change so much for our lives: adding 30-45 minutes to prepare dinner by eliminating your commute, or creating more time to spend with loved-ones by downsizing. Small changes can make a huge impact in our daily routines.

As Winter closes, take a pen and paper, curl up in your favourite sunny spot and start brainstorming what you love about your current situation – and what a new home or location could do for you.
